Our Future

As we move beyond the pandemic, we have big goals we would like to accomplish.   

New Boys and New Staff

We are rebuilding our roster with new boys and new staff. 

​

We are looking for boys ages 5 to 12 who love to sing, wish to be trained in our style, have desire to make new friends, and would like to travel.

 

We are actively looking add young, new conductors who are eager to learn our methods and style of teaching boys to sing beautifully, mentor them in strong, positive social and civic behavior, and guide them to be productive citizens of our community, state and country.  Click on the document to the left to find out more about our current openings.

Sustainable Donors

The North Star Boys' Choir is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and depends heavily on the generosity of those who believe in the power of music and the positive building up of boys and young men.

We believe every boy has a right to sing, and no boy is ever turned away due to finances.  Generous donations help us reach every boy who wishes to sing.  If you would like to donate to our mission,

New Motor Coach

​

The  number one goal is to get a new-to-us motor coach.  The pandemic has taken a toll on our current coach and we’re doing our best to keep it in shape, but it needs to be replaced. 

The boys ride our coach to camps, concerts, tours, school visits, and more.  It also hauls all of the choir’s gear in the luggage bays underneath, including the risers, keyboard, CDs, booklets, boys’ suitcases, and lots of other equipment.  With all the ways we use it, it would cost more to rent a motor coach than to buy one.  Plus, our coach is a rolling billboard, with the choir’s logo and photos of the boys wrapped around the outside.  

We’re asking you to help fund the purchase of a newer (used) motor coach, one part at a time.  Here are the parts (at various donation levels) that are available for you to “buy”:

  • Seats: $100 per seat (43 seats total)

  • Wheels: $500 per wheel (8 wheels total)

  • Axles: $1000 per axle (3 axles total)

  • Motor: $5000 (1 motor total)

  • If you want to “buy” a custom part, we can arrange that too (the driver’s seat and horn are already spoken for).

Tours to Asia

​

The North Star Boys' Choir has had three tours to Europe, and now we are looking forward for the opportunity to travel to Asia for the first time.
